Tim Seefeldt - Member
Managing Director, Syntegrity Group
Tim Seefeldt is a born-and-raised Albertan who operates the Western Canadian business for Syntegrity Group, a unique consulting firm that helps its clients solve some of their most complex challenges.
Tim's professional career began as a newspaper reporter, which is how he had his first encounter with The Mustard Seed. Working on a story about the murder of an inner-city man in Edmonton, Tim encountered staff and clients at The Mustard Seed. This firsthand look at what impoverished people face on a daily basis was a shock to his system.
A second shock came the next day when his story was buried deep inside the paper, in a spot most readers would have trouble finding. Clearly, it seemed, the lives of some in our community appeared to be valued more than others.
This stuck with Tim, and he eventually began volunteering at The Mustard Seed during evening meals. After a few years of this, he joined The Edmonton Mustard Seed board and was chairman when the Edmonton and Calgary operations joined in 2008.
Tim is happily married to Patricia and has two teenaged daughters, Kristina and Anna.

In addition, Jan is currently serving her third term as President of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada.
Jan became involved with The Mustard Seed when it was just a newly-fledged ministry of the denomination, and joined the organization's Board of Directors in 2011.
She is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others through good leadership, thoughtful insights and encouraging excellence in governance of the Boards responsible for Christian ministries such as The Mustard Seed.
