Recreation
This program offers our guests a variety of leisure and recreation activities to help restore balance and bring healthy community into their lives. Activities and outings such as bowling, swimming, rafting, hiking, and softball are offered throughout the year.
- Adventure Sports - Kayaking and outdoor day trips allow guests to find peace and tranquility in the beautiful outdoors while building relationships with other guests and staff.
- Fitness Programs -Yoga, running and other indoor and outdoor fitness related programs help guests keep fit and maintain both physical and mental stability.
- Offsite Trips - Activities such as bowling, rock climbing, and rollerblading are offered throughout the year. These activities allow guests to step outside the confines of The Mustard Seed and identify healthy recreation opportunities.
- Team Sports -Guests are able to participate in a range of healthy competitive team sports such as softball, soccer and basketball. These sports provide an opportunity for guests to integrate into the community and in some cases become part of outdoor leagues.
- Weekend Excursions - An opportunity for guests to engage in day or weekend outdoor adventure trips involving activities such as hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, camping and more.
- Winter Activities – Guests participate in outdoor winter activities such as skating, snowshoeing and skiing.
