DemoCrew participants prepare subs and floats for Calgary's homeless

Students spent the week at The Mustard Seed to learn firsthand about issues surrounding poverty and social justice in an experience called DemoCrew.

After spending the morning speaking with Calgary's homeless all over the downtown core, DemoCrew participants hosted a "Subs and floats" event outdoors Wednesday afternoon. All were welcome to come pick up a submarine sandwich and an ice cream float in this popular community event.
