Volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry. Without the commitment of more than 250 regular volunteers who offer their time, talents, and passion, The Mustard Seed could not help those living in poverty. Callling all Bakers!
Do you love to bake? If so, The Mustard Seed has a great opportunity for you! We are looking for groups of two to eight people to bake for the community, making 100 goodies each time they come. Groups are welcome to bake in the morning or afternoon. Food must be baked in The Mustard Seed's commercial kitchen and the group must supply all ingredients.
Opportunities for Individuals and Families
Are you an individual or family who would like to volunteer? The Mustard Seed needs help sorting donations. This is a great way to get involved on a short-term basis. Sorting dates are March 8 or March 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Bread Pick Up
Are you looking to volunteer in the short-term? The Mustard Seed needs a volunteer to pick up bread donations from a St. Albert bakery. Help is needed from February 20 to March 30.
Van Driver
Are you able to drive and volunteer? Each Wednesday, The Mustard Seed's Van Driver picks up donations and food stuffs, and drops off dry cleaning. The Mustard Seed's Van Driver needs a replacement while he is on vacation on March 7 and 14.
Love to be Clean and Organized?
If so, we have a great group activity for you! Each spring, a group of volunteers cleans The Mustard Seed's kitchen from top to bottom. All cupboards, coolers, pots and pans need to be washed. The Mustard Seed requires a group of two to eight people to clean the kitchen during the morning or afternoon in March or April.
