Buckle Up and Get Ready For... The Mustard Seed's Amazing (Car) Race!

In light of the rising COVID-19 cases in Alberta we have decided to postpone the Amazing (Car) Race to ensure the safety of our participants, staff, volunteers, and community.

We hope to reschedule the event for later this spring, which means there is still lots of time to register and we encourage all of our teams to continue fundraising!

Put together a team of 2-6 people and race around the city in your vehicle, work together to solve clues and complete fun activities throughout Red Deer. This family-friendly, city-wide scavenger hunt will be the highlight of your weekend!

There will be lots of opportunities for some amazing prizes – including a grand prize, a prize for the top fundraising team, prizes to be won at every pit stop, and much more throughout race day! We encourage each team to get creative and create their own fundraising team to support this great cause.

Be a part of your own Amazing Race – all while supporting a great cause! All proceeds will go to The Mustard Seed and will help support those experiencing homelessness and poverty throughout Central Alberta.

How It Works:

• Register your team (through the CanadaHelps Amazing Car Race Page) – $50 entry per car (2-6 people)
• The Amazing Car Race will kick-off at Koch Fuels parking lot (8009 Industrial Way)
• Teams will receive different clues for their starting position and make their way through the pit-stops
• Though the Amazing Car Race is a timed event, teams can earn time by obtaining points through very fun activities at pit stop locations
• Lunch will be provided along the route at Messinger Meats
• The event will finish at 4:00 PM or sooner depending on your team speed. Once complete, you will be able to submit photos from your pit-stop challenges for your name to be entered in a grand prize draw
